In asparagus, current cultivars are mostly hybrids (known as clonal hybrids) derived from crosses between two parents, female and male, with good combining ability. Despite the fact that have been obtained for more than 40 years, studies of heterosis abilities involved limited. Similarly, there no published regarding association genetic divergence heterosis. this sense, we evaluated sets diallel including 12 accessions 11 different origins marketable green asparagus production. Parentals were also included a way to assess The variation market yield was highly significant both sets.
